Lemons, Limes and Salt
So, today I have for you Orly Lemonade. It is something that I was not interested in 'til I did a swap with my friend at Nail Junkie and she wanted it so I went and got it for her. As soon as I had this in my possession I swiped it over a couple of nails and fell in love!
I didn't have any lemonade but I did have limeade, I use this frozen concentrate to make margaritas!!! =) yummy!
This is such a pretty color, I love it and I think it is a great color to wear in the hot summer months.

I love Lemonade. It is one of the prettiest yellow polishes I have ever seen. And it is a pretty nice formula, too.

And it didn't apply badly? Wow, that IS rare for a pastel yellow!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how this compares to ChG Lemon Fizz or ULTA Banana Rum in the Sun, I have both and those to are similar to each other. It's a great summer color and yay for margaritas!!

ReplyDelete@Jaljen- Absolutely applied nice, ESPECIALLY for a pastel yellow! I think this was three coats.
ReplyDelete@Freshie- I don't own either of those or I would do a comparison but I have used Lemon Fizz before and it was a tad more pale than this one, I love my margaritas with lots of salt which is weird cause I don't like salt on pretty much anything else, lol.
@Dovey- I know, 've been trying to squeeze in as much summer things that I can before I have to go back to school and boring-ness and bloody marys, for now I'm trying to get the most out of the rest of the hot summer!

@Tasha- yeah, too true but at the same time one more semester done=one more semester closer to graduation! you should totally swatch your little yellow number, we need more bloggers sticking to actual summer colors, not jump into fall yet, which I don't really care about obviously since I am wearing a spring color in this post and currently sporting a christmas mani?! :D

ReplyDelete@Karen- I'm sure Mr. Karen would like to see this on you, and it is still a summery bright, better to wear now than in the middle of winter, or maybe that's just what you need in the winter, a little sunshine?
