When Life Gives you Lemons, Make Cuticle Cream!

Hi hi everyone, my nails are still very short and silly looking but I painted them with China Glaze Ingrid and I like it, so I will take photos later tonight and hopefully post so one and all can see?

Here is my next dillemma: CUTICLES Right now, I am using Orly Cuticle Therapy Creme and it is ok, I like the old lady smell that it has but I think I need something that is a little 'stronger' at moisturizing 'cause my hands and cuticles are dry, especially with winter around the corner here.

What do you think? Should I switch to Lemony Flutter?

I love Lush stuff so I think I would like it, but is it worth the money?

  1. I've heard so many good things about Lemony Flutter. I use Burt Bees cuticle cream and it really seems to do the trick for me.

  2. It seems like a lot of the cuticle stuff that is out there right now is just made of cheap stuff. I was using Sally Hansen cuticle oil for a while and it actually dried out my cuticles and made them worse... I think it's because they just used cheap oils.

So I made the switch to Lemony Flutter a few weeks ago and every time I put it on before I go to bed in the morning, I really do see a difference... my cuticles are noticeably softer and not as dry as they usually are. Lemony Flutter can also be used on elbows, feet, etc. (I've tried it on my feet and it works great!!) So for me it was worth the money :)

  3. I sampled it a month ago when I was in a LUSH store and liked it so much that I went back and bought it 2 weeks ago. I like it a lot. It doesn't leave me feeling greasy, it absorbs quickly and I really see and feel an improvement in my cuticles. I thought it was a good buy.

  4. @Megan- I was considering that one too but I've had better experiences with Lush than with Burt's Bees =[

@Deanna- Thanks, that is very helpful!

@Lacquer Ware- I think I may have to order it after all...the only reason I ask these silly questions is because there isn't a Lush store even remotely close to me so I order all of it from their website and I rely on what others have to say about the stuff... Have yet to be disappointed.

  5. I've been debating getting Lush as well as the cheapo stuff I got from Sally's isn't doing the job.

  6. @Freshie- I think I've decided to just go ahead and get the Lemony Flutter. If you do the price checking thing the Burt's Bees works out to be the same price or slightly more if you look at a per ounce basis and I really need something that is a little stronger so I'll let you know what I think about it.

  7. I've been debating between Lush and Burt's Bees. I can easily get the Burt's Bees but I'd have to order the Lush and I hate paying for shipping. I'm actually leaning towards the Burt's Bees because of that, but I'm not sure yet.

  8. Looking forward to hearing how you like the Lemony Flutter. Lately I've mostly been using Mango Mend from Sally's plus Burt's Bees sometimes because that's what I used before.

  9. @Ambria- I looked at the per ounce basis of the Burt's vs. Lush debate and Burt's is the same or slightly higher than Lush in most cases on a per ounce basis...plus the shipping is the same if you get a few items or 1 so save up some money and order a couple other things too!

@Karen- I've heard Mango Mend is pretty nice but I will be sure to update everyone on what I think about this Lemony Flutter stuff.
